I was told I needed to go out of country for a business trip. My company then stated it was not necessary 4 hours later. I requested a refund, fully expecting to pay a 50 dollar fee for their automated e-mail response to my inquiry to their Company.

I paid for the service up front, My Mistake) to get a passport hand carried. They promised 1-2 day turn around. I was impressed with website and testimonials.

When I queried for a refund for a service never used, this is the reponse.

Dear Kenneth D** C***,

We received your request for a refund and have reviewed your passport case. Please be advised that our websites clearly indicate our refund policy on every page in the Terms & Conditions. Your review of these conditions is required prior to the submittal of your order. In addition, you checked multiple boxes during the checkout process acknowledging your review of and agreeing to these Terms & Conditions. We believe our Terms and Conditions are fair and reasonable and enforce them in a likewise manner.

After reviewing your passport case internally, we cannot issue you a refund. You agreed to pay for our services and did not fulfill your obligation. Your reservation in our system prevented another customer from obtaining a reservation. Furthermore, our staff worked diligently to prepare your case for expedited submission to the Department of State. The fee you paid to our company was for a service and not for the passport. We believe that we have proceeded with your service requirements in a professional and competent manner. Pursuant to the Terms and Conditions referenced above, we cannot issue a refund at this time.

The website says 50 dallar fee. They also use info@rushmypassport.com to send you the automated response.

When you query about money, they reply from, info@expeditedtravel.com which if you replay to, it promptly tells you is an unavailable mail address.

RushMyPassport.com received your order on March 5th. Although your company cancelled your business trip 4 hours later, you did not call us until March 11th. Had you called us that day, you would have received a refund.

Please be aware that the Department of State only allows us to process a limited amount of expedited passports each day. The fee we charge is for the reservation that we hold on our customer's behalf. Due to the time sensitive nature of our service we were not able to accommodate another customer's request for that day.

We are committed to disclosing our refund policy to our customers and investigating any disputes that a customer may have concerning it. The terms and conditions are accessible on every page of our site

RushMyPassport.com has been featured on MSNBC, Forbes and CNN as a leader in expediting US passports. We have helped 25,000 customers receive their passports in time for their trip.

I hope we have addressed your comments and apologize that you did not have a positive experience with us.
