I applied for an expedited passport to replace a lost passport 2.5 weeks before my trip. They take the 200$, I have no passport, the trip has come and gone,. They requested additional notorized documents as to why the prior passsport was last. That was typed-up, notorized, returned via overnight fedex and confirmed as received w/in 24hrs. They delay taking it to the passport office. When you call for an update-you get a machine and your call is not returned. When you e-mail them-your email isn't returned. The online chat tells you to call and the cycle starts.com the address is not valid. After my flight had left they e-mailed me to contact the National passport tollfree line. Where was/is the service? I doubt this is they type service that the BBB wants when they use their seal as an advertisement endorsement

Dear Customer,
We understand your frustration for not receiving your passport in time for your trip. In your case, one of your required documents was missing for your application causing a delay in your passport processing. The statement regarding your lost or stolen passport was requested by the U.S Passport Agency after they initially reviewed your application. All of the documents that we receive from our customers are immediately delivered to the US Passport Agency. We strive to maintain constant communication with all of your customers, updating them of the status of their applications. We apologize if you experienced any delay in communication.
