I am responding to the reports about this "supposed" charity organization. I have been receiving junk mail requests for donations for the past two years at least once a week from Saint Matthew's; and I blatantly will call it what it is. Junk Mail.

I made the mistake of sending in a donation the first time I received one of these letters. The second time I received one it was easy to see by the content of the correspondence that this was a questionable charity.

The amount of money that this organization has spent just on the mail I have received could have fed a small army. It has become absolutely ridiculous. I would just be happy if they took the money spent on all of this mail and used it for whatever causes that they are supposedly supporting.

You've really hit the nail on the head--I was thinking the same thing!! Why spend all of that money for tons of junk mail to be sent repeatedly, especially if they get no response? The only thing I finally tried was to mark the envelopes "RETURN TO SENDER" and on the back (in big letters in red marker), "DO NOT SEND ANY MORE MAILINGS!" But I keep getting more, anyway. I even reported this to the FCC and have never gotten a response of any kind. I especially cannot believe the hocus-pocus mumbo jumbo types of things they are putting in these letters--things like "put this page under your pillow,"  "DO NOT open this envelope until the return letter has been picked up by the mailman!" and other really crazy things!

It is just TOTALLY BOGUS that they expect people to send them money!!!

I want to know WHY they are not being stopped!
