SAR & Associates I was sent a letter from their Civil Procedings Dept. It stated that i owed them money. I stated that I had a lawyer and needed them to contact him reguarding this matter. The ;lady on the phone stated that I need to give SAR & Associates a finanuical power of attorney to handle my financial affairs and then they could contact my lawyer. but only they had a power of attorney to handle my financial affairs. SAR & Associates sent a letter to my wife and myself about a supposed past due account. When I finally was able to get the lady on the phone to explain what this was actually in reguards to, I explained to her that this matter was resolved thru a Bankruptcy and that I had the number for my laywer for her company to contact him. She stated that the only way they could call my laywer is if I gave them a Financial Power of Attorney to handle my financial affairs.

I would never give a Power of Attorney to anyone who I never have known. To have a company actually come out and ask for one is crazy. I wish that there was a way to punish these people for lying likes this. Just imagine how many people actually give this company a Power of Attorney and they can do what ever they want with their finances.
