Scott Hawkins or Tex Allen Do not hire this man- he will not complete your job Vallejo California

Scott (Tex) built a website for me and did a great job.... Where I went wrong is switching my hosting to him.

Since I had lost my previous website because the host did not have a back up Scott suggested I allow him to host. He stated he always had 2 back up copies of my site on different servers. I asked for a back up zip for myself and never received it.

Skip ahead 4 months, a client called and said my site was down and that it showed the domaine was for sale. Of course, I called "Tex" immediately, he assured me it was just a Wordpress issue and he would have it back up. After months of him assuring me that he would relaunch my site tomorrow, he stopped returning texts, emails, and phone calls.

I served him with a demand letter as a precursor to small claims court for reimbursement of my original site as well as the cost of having it built by another designer. He said he would pay me and asked if he could make payments. I agreed to a good faith payment.....never received....of course. I am now pursuing it in small claims but wouldn't you know it, now I can't find him to serve him. This sucks on so many levels, but the sad part is he knows his stuff, but apparently cannot help himself from breaking his contractual commitments.
