I was scammed into becoming a preferred customer by leaving my credit card info for a cheaper price. I never received a log In to access my account or even a receipt or any proof of my order. Suddenly my credit card was charged within 24 hours for almost $300 for an eye cream and serum!! I can buy ReVive or Chanel for cheaper then that! So when I called to cancel less then 48 hours of my order being placed, I waited exactly 34 minutes on hold before a representative answered. I told him to cancel my order and not to charge my credit card for the next 6 months as the agreement stated with a cancellation at any time. He said I could cancel my order because it wasn't processed yet in the warehouse.. He never provided me with a cancellation number either.. I was satisfied. However 3 days later I receive my order and my credit card was charged!! I have no receipt with my order nor a client number or invoice of any sort. The packaging of my eye cream looked like someone sat on it and the plastic was removed. I feel so ashamed that I was so foolish to fall for this scam. When I tried to return it, they said they wouldn't accept returns because I purchased it through their sales rep and not online. I'm afraid they will continue to charge me next month too. So now I have $300 worth of eye serum/cream and I can only blame myself. Please nobody put yourself through this. This has only made my life more complicated and stressed. An honest company wouldn't have to hide invoices or not answer calls and not take returns. The owner of this company must make lots of money scamming hard working people. I guess I was one of the suckers they say is born every minute.

The Agent Failed you, not the company

I can understand and relate to your frustration. I have experienced poor customer service many times and it is quite a headache. However, I believe your experience was a personal one not one that reflects on the company. Seacret is a direct sales company that uses representatives to market and sell its product. Each agent has its own business within the company, the company is simply the supplier. The products contain 12 exclusive minerals from the dead sea that give it its quality performance and is paired with the latest deliver technology by L'Oreal. These products are also paraben free. The quality and performance is what determinese the rate, comparably to other luxury skin care the price is reasonable- especially as a PC or agent. There are options for getting these products at discount rates and even free as a Preffered Customer.

The system-If followed how its designed- includes proper training. One of the principles of this compnay is a world class customer experience. I am sorry this agent failed in servicing you properly. It is possible they just did not know or were not trained properly. Receipts are given via email and you should have received one with your order information. You are also required to sign the form you gave your credit card information. If you buy directly from the agent on the spot they set the price and are responsible for the sale. The company website www.seacretdirect.com is where you want to purchase from. You will receive an order confirmation, a log in and reciept this way.

I do appologize for your experience but I believe this was a personal agent who made the mistake. This was not a reflection on who or what the company is about. I would also not call this a scam as you gave your personal information to the agent to process with permission. The CEO Izhak Ben Shabbat is an amazing person who wants to build a wealthy community in which he is doing so with the Seacret opportunity based on honesty, morality, integrity and community. Seacret products are of luxury skin care and deliver immediate results, I hope that you at least saw results with the products you ordered.

Seacret vs Seacret Direct

AUTHOR: Grace - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, May 21, 2013

Sounds like you weren't scammed by Seacret but by a person who happened to start a Seacret Direct business. Seacret Direct is the direct sales division of Seacret. They are 2 different divisions of Seacret. I wouldn't say Seacret is a scam. You just worked with the wrong person. Sounds like they aren't working their business efficiently or taking care of their customer effectively. I'm sure if you called the Seacret Direct customer line they would have taken care of you.

On your part it is important for any customer with any company to cover yourself by getting a return # or some kind of confirmation of your request to cancel. That is just a life lessoned learned. Seacret's products are amazing and I wouldn't give up on using them because of one person..You mentioned other product lines and those aren't returnable either. Most skincare products are not. I have looked into spending my time sharing these products and building a business. I've met the owners and they are wonderful people who would frown upon someone not representing them well. They have high integrity and want to protect their names in the industry. I have searched negative reviews and all I have found are a few bad experiences with people at the kiosks or a couple of sales agents. Nothing on the products as they are fabulous!
