A few days ago while doing my X-mas shopping at the mall I was greeted by a salesman, the manager of the kiosks for the mall, offering me a sample of a skin care product. Same as with other customers the sales person asked to see my hand and starts putting on some nail lotion and uses a nail file on it, and the fast talking begins, telling you what a great product they have to sell you.

The price for this product was extremely over priced, the one I was told it normally goes for was $30 over what it sells for on the Seacret website. After an offer to buy 2 of their nail kits, and get 2 more free I told the salesman I would like to think about it and do more shopping. He then gave me a new offer, stating he would give me a 2nd kit for half off, and a 3rd for free. I had asked the man if he stood behind the product, which he claimed he did, so I agreed to his final offer, and ended up spending over $100 more than I had ever planned on. (I also have ended up getting service charges from my bank for this, for going over my budget.)

This purchase didn't leave me feeling good about it, and I was second guessing myself until the next day when I returned to the mall. A 2nd salesman tells me how they can't give refunds, only exchanges, and tries to pawn off some of their other goods in exchange. After turning them down I am now stuck with 3 of these kits that I don't want, that I would rather throw away than give as gifts. Despite what the charming sales people in the mall might say, don't trust these products. Also pointing to the terrible business practices this company employs their website clearly states they will not accept refunds from any retail purchase.
