Second Chance Maurice McClain, Timothy ,door rep, Door to Door Solicitor claiming he got a 1-800 number out of the paper in Memphis, Tennessee about obtaining 5000 points and they would get a credit to go to ,TCC, Tulsa Community College for school. He said he is currently being placed in an apartment off 61st and Peoria, which happens to be one of the highest crime rates in the city of Tulsa, besides North Tulsa. Tulsa Oklahoma

On November 2, 2014 around 6pm our door bell rang from a nice young man named Timothy from Memphis, TN.  He said he was raising money for a non-profit orgization for people who need a second chance.  He mentioned is was a partnership with (TCC) Tulsa Cummunity College.  Once the individual obtain a number of points (dollars) of $5K, they would be accepted into the school program and for further education.  

He handed us a pamplet, that had an EIN number of 45-0698099 and stated it was a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization called Second Chance based out of Tulsa, OK. I asked who was the founder, he said Maurice McClain.  I asked him to hold on, while I looked up the EIN and organization to verify rather its legitiamte or not.  The the EIN is connected to a company in Georgia.  

It seems as if this Maurice person or whoever is running the people down here in Tulsa is taking advantage of desperate young people who are looking for a new opportunities to be successful, yet are getting the complete opposite and being scammed by the people who are making the promise of hope in a future education.  

I told the young man to be careful in who to trust and I hope I that whoever the person corrupting these young people is put in jail or pays a large tax fine for fraudulent activity.  I looked up the programs affiliated with TCC and come to find out, there is a Second Chance Scholarship Program for incarcerated inmates, which a limited number are awarded each year based on donations.
