Select Portfolio Servicing, Inc. Unwarranted late fees, increased charges for insurance & damaged credit report Pasadena California

My mortgage was bought by Select Portfolio Services, Inc. Prior to this company purchasing my mortgage I never experienced any problems as I had always paid 2 to 3 months in advance. However, once Select Portfolio Services, Inc. purchased my mortgage I have been put through hell. First, they "claim" that my account is overdue. However, I have always sent my payment in on time. One problem is they have changed the address I need to send the payment to at least five times. Each time I called to find out where to send the payment I got the run around. It became so problematic for me I decided to refinance my mortgage with another company. However no mortgage comapny would take me as a customer since I had a poor payment record. This is absurd as I have always paid my mortgage on time. Select Portfolio Services either didn't post my payment or never cashed my checks. I was told by one of the representatives from one of the mortgage companies that "Select Portfolio Services, Inc. doesn't want your money, they wnat your house." At any rate it got so bad that I did indeed receive a foreclosure notice. The only way my attorney said I could keep my home was to file for bankruptcy. Then, most recently Select Portfolio Services, Inc. sent me a notice that my monthly payment was going to increase because they had no proof of my insurance. This is a false claim as I have been continuously insured and have sent them proof. At any rate my payment will go up over $1,000 per year as "their insurance" costs over four times what I am currently paying. I don't know how any company can get away with such tactics in the United States of America. It is an absolute outrage. The stress and trauma that I have gone through is overwhelming. And, I worry each and every day that I am going to lose my home and my family will be out on the street.
