Sensate Technology Sensate Technology Submitted Fraudulent Charges to My Mastercard Account Internet California

Two charges to my Mastercard issued by Cardmember Service appeared on my Dec. statement submitted by Sensate Technology 8052752235 CA for small amounts, $8.65 and $10.65. Since I didn't recognize this company, had not purchased anything from them to my knowledge, and had not given them my card no. to my knowledge, I attempted to contact them to determine what the charges were for and of course how they had my card#.

I both telephoned and emailed them. I received no reply from either voicemail messages or email messages. In the next day or two, both the telephone and website disappeared and were not accessible. Their website indicated they were in the business of designing websites, I believe.

I then contacted some computer folks here. They went to ripoffreport.com and found similar reports.

Finally, I called Cardmember Service and disputed the charges with success. I also cancelled the acct. and they were happy to issue me a new Mastercard acct. and no. Think I'll sleep a wee bit better!!
