Servicemagic Matched me to a contractor that took me for $20K then went bankrupt. Golden Colorado

I contacted ServiceMagic to match me to a local contractor to have a garage built. The contractor i was matched with gave me a quote to have the job done. the contractor I was matched to did not even 1/6 of the work and after i had given them a 50% deposit and then i could not get the contractor to return to do any more work and the contractor declared bankruptcy. I hired a lawyer but the contractor s lawyer was one step ahead of mine and i never retrieved any money from the contractor. I complained to ServiceMagic and they gave me a big $500 refund and a sorry. That was it.
