shaw carpet, the shaw carpet co. was contacted and i informed of a dust coming off my carpet the same color as my carpet and they informed me it was dust. i have had breathing problems. dalton, Georgia

i contacted shaw carpet about a powder in my carpet that i detected when i got a vacuum cleaner. it had a plastic cannister and i could see inside. this powder is the same color as my carpet and sticks to the plastic and the amount of fibers i vacuum is unreal. a man came out and tested my carpet . the report said it was dust. now how can my dust match the carpet? i have two different color carpets and it is same color as the carpet.

they offered to replace the carpet, but i have to pay the labor . which would be about $1500.00 dollars or more.this powder is not dust! i live byself and don't havealot of traffic. if this dust ,then i have more dust then the whole neighborhood. i believe it could be affecting my breathing.
