We purchased a new 2009 Subaru Forester from Michael Hohl Subaru in Carson City, NV. The Salesman closer offered an extended warranty for $1750.00 which, if not used, was refundable. I read the contract and it does state this clearly. At the end of the warranty period if there were no claims for warranty repairs the full amount was to be refunded. The warranty period ended last month, so I sent for the forms as instructed on the contract. The letter was "returned to sender, no mail receptacle, unable to forward. I see others on the internet reporting that they fell for this scam. Michael Hohl will be notified and I am going to request a full refund. Beware the extended warranty scam.
