I purchased a extended warranty from Signet Financial Group for my 2010 Toyota Tundra. My warranty is up in March 5, 2017. So I tryed to call Signet to see what I needed to do to get my $2295.00 when my warrant expires since I never used my warrant. Guess what there phone is dissconected there out of bussiness. I went to Reno Toyota to see what they could do. The person I was supposed to talk to wasnt there. Reno Toyota told me that they would call me never did. Reno Toyota said they were aware of the proplem. Why didnt they call me if they new about Signet being out of bussiness.

They lied to you

If you buy an auto warranty and never use it - you don't get the money back at the end of the warranty period.  Whoever told you that was lying. No question about it. If it were a true statement it would be in writing in your contract. One thing to remember:  if you don't see it in your contract, then it doesn't exist. Next time a dealer tells you something - ask him to point it out in the contract for you to read it yourself. Do this with every claim he makes. Don't sign anything without reading it first. These dealers are experts at distracting you so you sign without reading.

By the way, most vehicle warranties aren't worth the paper they are written on anyway.  They have many, many exclusions and cover very few items. You would be better off putting the warranty money in your bank account to save for future repairs. The best way to know is to read the entire warranty before buying it - and most dealers won't let you do that.
