SILKIES PANTYHOSE BILLED ME FOR ITEMS I DID NOT ORDER! Ripoff! PHILADELPHIA Pennsylvania

My sister is a member of Silkies Pantyhose, without my knowledge she filled out a card w/ my name & address for a free pair of little girls pantyhose for my daughter. Well, I receive a bill a few weeks later for $3.98. Yes, this is a small amt. but I NEVER ordered anything, so I didn't understand why I was getting a bill. I figured it was a mistake, because my sister said the pair was absolutely free, so I ignored the bill. Well, I received another bill and there was no phone # to contact anyone.

I was livid!!!! I tried to find a website to contact them, and instead I came across this website. Thanks to another complaint posted, I was able to get a phone #. I called and talked to a rep named Maria. I asked her why I received a bill when my sister filled the card out. Her reply was "Well your sister didn't READ the card because it clearly says, the 1st pair is free, but you will receive 2 more pair @ $1.00 each (plus s&h)" II demanded that this bill be taken out of my name. She said she would take care of it.

HOW CAN THIS BE ALLOWED?? I can just imagine how many people gave up trying to contact Silkie and just paid the bill to avoid collection. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!
