Once again, I am filing another rip off to do with cell phone rebates.
I also have yet to receive any additional response from the "other" company I listed a few months ago. I thought this one was different. I think I may have been mistaken.
I have filed the first of three rebate forms. I was impressed because the forms had the actual timeframe to file the various rebate forms within. I was careful. I filed on time. Then, I waited. And waited. And waited.
I emailed twice with no response. I just visited their site so I could glean a phone number and will try that today, but am not hopeful.
I am tired and frustrated and will probably NEVER purchase a cell phone online again FROM ANYONE that promises rebates.
These companies are hurting business for all legitimate ones. I had one good experience a couple years ago and that's about it.

Simply Wireless contacted me today and amazingly we have resolved the issue and I feel confident my rebate will be on the way shortly and the next two will follow also.
More than I can say for InPhonic who has yet to follow through on their empty promise at this site that they were going to resolve with me.
Thank you Simply Wireless... perhaps my faith has been restored "just a little". Now, if we could get rid of the companies that give the others, like yourself, a bad reputation, THAT would be great!

I received correspondence from Christine this morning in regards to not receiving a response from Simply Wireless regarding the status of her rebate. We did receive an e-mail from Christine on 11/14/05 which was not replied to within our 24 hour response period. This has been corrected and appropriate steps are being taken to ensure that Simply Wireless responds in a timely fashion to any and all customer inquiries. Regarding any previous e-mails from Christine prior to 11/14/05, we only reflect an email requesting a copy of the rebate form on 6/15/05 to which we did respond and fulfilled her request.
We have no record of ever receiving a rebate submission from Christine; however, Christine was kind enough to resend the information to me. The rebate has now been received, approved and submitted for processing. Christine understands that it may take up to 8-10 weeks for her check arrival.
