make software purchase. The link they send you to download software does not exist. I made a debt cc purchase. I contacted my bank. Unfortunately since I authorized the purchase and they (soft4download)has the autorization code they can get my money. I ask the bank to cancel the authorization code and they told me they could not do this. The money have not been taken from my account yet, but they (my bank is not willing to cancel the transaction even though the company (soft4download is a bogus company). The person emailing me about this company goes by the name of Kristen Bishop with email account of Kristen Bishop" and when I email her, this email account no longer exist.

Understand company being upset with me

I understand Soft4download for being upset with me in originally filing my complaint. However, I did try to contact them for several hours and their link or website could not be found. When I came to your site and saw the previous complaint
I panic and thought the same thing happened to me. There was not way for me to contact the company. I even called my bank and asked if they had a phone number listed and there wasn't one listed. How was I to know that they were having computer problems. I tried all night trying to get to their site and I kept getting page not available. I was not until the next day when I tried again that I got a link to their site and was able to post a message to their support link. Even when I tried to reply to them when they sent the order comfirmation my email came back with unable to deliver.
I am so sorry, let's put this to rest. There was mis communication on both parties here. Soft4download emailed me notifying me that they saw my complaint on the Rip off report site and asked me for an explanation (which I provide to them and they as me to retract my statement which I did. Like me,
if they had wanted until midnight to look for my retraction statement they wouldn't have felt the need to make it seem like
I was unwilling to commuicate with them.
Once again, Soft4download, please accept my humble apology.

Please remove previous complaint I posted on this company. My problem was resolved. I did received the software. They had computer problems due to flooding in their area.

I would like to retrack my complaint previously filed on 1/9/05.
I learned that Soft4download was having internet problems due
to flooding in their area.
I did receive my product a few days later. Please cancel my
previous complaint.

On 2005-01-09 Mrs. Gail W. made a purchase with our company and the same day submitted the rip-off report. As a matter of fact, we notify all the customers that the downloading possibility normally becomes available in 24 hours after the order is placed. According to our Terms:
'3.2. The order will be processed and the access to the Download Center given within 24 hours after the order is placed. If you do not receive the confirmation email within 24 hours after order placing, you should contact us and the Store will resend it for you.'
Mrs. Gail W. was to read and agree to our terms before making a purchase.
Within 24 hours two e-mails were sent to Mrs. Gail W. The first one contained downloading instructions. The second letter informed customers about problems with our hardware caused by the consequences of flood in Europe and possible troubles with downloading.
We have done our best to solve this problem in the shortest possible time. Thus, on 2005-01-13 Mrs. Gail W. successfully downloaded the software files. We have heard nothing from her since then.

I did cancel my bank card. I will take to a bank president tomorrow to see if he can cancel the authorization code before this company (soft4download) can take my money

Go to the bank 1st thig Mon AM and withdraw the money in your account. That bank doesn't deserve your business. Good Luck
