I was hired by Solid Gold Sound a day before the actual wedding. They came up with the same excuses now that I see on here. I was to be paid a total of $450.00. I usually get paid in the $85 to $150 an hour range. I have
been djing now for 34 years. I have worked in Cincy, Indy & Evansville, In
I have been getting repeated lies from about 5 guys. I even threated lawsuits against this company. I have talked to Kruer after leaving threating phone calls. First they sent it but someone cashed it. Then they forgot to send it. They have asked for my address 7 times. I had someone from a local tv station call them up and ask for me to dj. They said I have been working for them a long time and if they wanted me for Feb 14-2009 they better put a down-payment of $100.00 to lock it in. They already had me for one on that date but they could get me if they paid on a credit card. All this information has been taped and e-mails saved for future law suits against them. After putting pressure on them I finally received my check 12/9/08. I was told on
saturday that Ron was now the new owner and John Kruer is no longer with them. When I called monday morning guess-----who answered. Kruer was on
the line. I asked him on the phone who owned the place because my cousin who is a prominant attorney was going to file a major lawsuit against them, with all the information he had found. kruer told me the check was sent around the third. I received the check the next day which was dated 12/8/08
the day I talked to Kruer. He also said they could not make any money by paying guys like me $450.00 but between $150-$250 when they are charging some people $600-$700. These guys a frauds from the get go. You would think by now they would get story straight. Believe me Ron is a big a liar as John. Do not believe them when they say there is a new owner. They are your worst nightmare!
