This company boy once you are out you are out and they do what they can to ruin your career. I workd for them for over 2 yrs, now they find out I have a black fiance and they refuse to fix my a/c that had been broke for over a month, then get me home 4 days late missing all my plans at home.. I took all days I had earned and 2 extra to be home on the wkend as was my original ht scheduled for, a wkend home..
Upon calling in for dispatch was told I was terminated because I did not return to work, there was no new date for returning agreed on..and complaining too much about broken a/c in truck.. then they should not have sent me to Phoenix Az in July. Correct??? Yet they can still fire me then have a tow company come take my trk from my daughters property where it had been parked the whole time while I was home and put an abandonment on my DAC report.. DAC says they responded to their inquiries so they have to leave it on my DAC report..SRT still says yes I abandoned their truck.
Excuse me, but, I now am also being screwed by DAC not only SRT, am I the only one in this world that does not think parking my truck at home with me on my dtrs property is abandonment... They put me out of my trk and gave me no choice to go to Ar and return it...I did not quit nor did I abandon their darn truck.. and their is nothing I can do.. This company has all the powr to do and say as they want and it makes me sick, that I was a loyal hard working employee and if this was not so why was I there for over 2 yrs and now all of a sudden I am no good.. because they are prejudice.. if not for putting my black fiance on this trk as a rider to come home with me I know for a fact that I would still have a job.. A/C probably not, but definately a job..
Anyone out there that can help me get this DAC report changed to tell the truth, get me a job, anything.. Sue SRT..they also have sent me to collections some company in Mo for the tow bill.. They wrongfully terminated me, took my truck from me, and can do as they please..
Do not work for this backstabbing prejudice company, they will suck the life right out of you, and kick you after they drop you over a cliff...

I completely and totally agree with you that you got shafted but here's my suggestion. You say they fired you because of your African-American fiance...prove it. Then take them to court.

I am a former driver of SRT and had my own falling out with them, although for different reasons. I will say that you are absolutly correct when you say they have no respect for their drivers what so ever and will not back you up in any way shape or form. With that said there are only a few things that you can do with DAC. If you have already disputed, with DAC, about the abandoned truck entry on your DAC report, short of getting a lawyer and suing SRT to have the entry removed, the only thing you can do is write a letter to DAC stating your side of what happened and ask them to attach the letter to your DAC report. Once this is done anybody who pulls your DAC will also see your version of what happened. This may or may not help with future employers but at least they will be able to see your side of what happened. I hope this helps you.

They tried to do exactly what your saying to me.
SRT told me to stay at the house and somebody would pick it up.
I asked if that means I abandoned the truck they said no
I jumped into the truck and drove it to the drop yard
I was lucky they sent one driver to my house and one driver to the yard as you know there entire problem is just that :communication.
I turned in a quit sheet to the security guard and was later informed by SRT they would put it on my DAC for abandonment.
I hope it's not on my DAC because I can just send DAC my driver quit report
