I purchased a card from SpeedyPin on April 5. Their website promised that the card would provide 333 minutes of domestic talk time to cell phone or land-line phones with no additional taxes or fees. When I made my first call to a domestic number, I was extremely disappointed to hear that my card would only provide around 200 minutes of talk time to that number. Shortly thereafter, I filled out and submitted the online customer service form on their website to file a complaint. I did not hear back from anybody. A week after that, I sent an e-mail directly to their customer service e-mail address. No one ever responded. I finally had to call their customer service line. Though I called several times, no one ever picked up - I had to leave a message, though someone did call back (finally). I eventually spoke to the customer service manager. I explained to her that I had sent a message on the customer service form on their website. Shockingly, she - the customer service manager! - said that she was completely unaware that such a form existed on the website until I told her and that the concerns that people had been submitting via the form were not being screened(!). She also said that she was not sure why my e-mail was not responded to but said that it was a "system problem" (yeah, right). I told her about the problem - by that time, I had used most of my money by making only 97 minutes of domestic calls, obviously significantly less than what was promised. She didn't seem to understand this basic math and refused to acknowledge at first that there was a problem with the card. Finally, after spending at least a couple of hours of my time trying to resolve this situation, the manager acknowledged the mistake and sent me another card to cover the difference in minutes between what was promised and what was actually provided me. Please, don't patronize Speedypin unless you want to get ripped off or have hours of time to kill to rectify Speedypin's mistakes.
