Spirit Airline Automatic renewal of $9 fare club. Internet

Suddenly discovered a $59.95 charge on my AMEX card. Called and found that the charge came from Spirit Airline for $9 Airfare membership that I signed up a year ago. Went to Spirit website and cancelled the membership.

It says "membership fee is not refundable, do you still like to proceed?" Then I realized that this is a scam. No one spend the time to read terms and conditions when they first sign up for "membership", so they always get 2 years of membership fee.

I called Spirit. The answer was their standard spell. No refund! For those who like Spirit, go ahead and fly. This airline should be out of business.
