Spirit Airlines SPIRIT AIRLINES IS A RIP OFF Miramar Florida

I purchased a ticket for my husband for our family trip in August. Several weeks prior to us traveling, my husbands job would not give him the time off. I call the reservations line to change the ticket. I informed the agent he was not going to be able to travel with us so what are our options. I was told in order to reschedule there would be a fee of $75.00. I said ok I will call back at a later date and that was the end of the conversation. I call the reservation line today 10/02/07 @ 9:20am and was told the ticket has been canceled. I spoke with an agent who was very rude when I ask to speak with a supervisor. He stated to me "A supervisor will tell you the same thing" I said "well let them tell me" Nathan then hung up on me. I called back and somehow got him again so I asked for corporate number and address and he stated Spirit didn't have a corporate office. After looking on the internet I found in fact they do have a coporate office and phone number. I have emailed Spirit customer compliant twice already with no response from 10-4-07. Had I been informed that if he did not show the ticket would be cancelled and he would not be able to rebook I would not be writing this today. However, I was not told that information. I dont have $260 that I can just give spirit. BE AWARE
