Stamps.com ripoff, dishonest, crooks, liars Los Angeles California

Well..nobody on the planet's surface deserve a BBB "F" rating than this folks. They lie and steal as they feel necessary. I made the mistake of signing up for a free thrity day trial. I tried to cancel it via phone... but.. nobody ever answers their phone. I even waited almost an hour on hold. Nice.

I filed a BBB complaint against them...since that seems the only thing that gets them to acually do things. Do things they did. I recieved two emails...notifying me that the $31.98 that they had been trying to take out of my checking account was forgiven. I owe them nothing...says the next email. over? Ha! Think again.

I check my checking account balance..-23.72. Three guesses who's respondsible? Of course stamps.com came in last night with a "Demand to pay" for the $31.98 and literally stole it out of my checking account...even though the balance was lower. Of course, they caused an overdraft charge...and will cause many more, I'm sure. I'm filing a Affidaviit of Transaction Dispute with Netbank..and hopefully the other three outstanding transactions will not go through..get declines..and I'll have to make sure they get paid once Netbank puts the money back.

Lesson learned: Always check with the BBB or at least google the company...and see if they are slime. If I had checked with the BBB...there is no way I would have signed up for this trial.

I know this website has a bone with the BBB...but some of them are really honestly trying to do better. Others, as you know, are still basically worthless.
