STARLUCK CASINO GOT A LETTER WITH A CHECK OF $3750.00 SAID THAT I HAD WON CALLED THE NUMBER AND IT SOUNDED LIKE A SCAM SO I DID MY HOMEWORK FIRST. ripoff TORONTO ONTARIO

starluck casino sent a letter to my house with a check for $3750.00 saying that I had won from Online gaming. the letter states that the $3750.00 was for international taxes and clearance fees. And that all fees must be paid before the balance of $98k would be remitted to me.

the letter states to begin your lotto claim please contact your claims agent at (604-338-2571) I did speak to someone name (Tony). Said for me to deposit the check and then call back in 24 hours after it clears the bank. (that sounded funny to me) like a scam.

the letter said that my winning ticket number was (382-527-341) and that it was my final notice and that all prize money would be void after June 20 ,2007.

Also what's weired was when I called that number Tony did not answer the phone as if it was a business he just said (HELLO). THATS NOT RIGHT.

Tony said that I would need a code number for when I called back within 24 hours of the deposit so they would know that it was me and not someone else. ( also that sounded not right to me).

besides publisher clearing house would come to me if I would have won $98k, and they would have handed me a big fat check.
(DARN JUST NOT MY LUCKY DAY) but I was smart enough to smell a scam when I saw it.
