I ordered a starter lathe kit the price at check out was 351.95, but when i checked my credit card account the next day i was charged $420.11. I then called and called with no answer. The following week someone answered the phone and said that extra shipping charges applied and he would look into it and call me back that afternoon also said the item would ship the next day. Three days later and several unanswered calls they answered and said that an illness in the family had them behind and assured me with information given i would be contacted back that afternoon with shipping information. I have not recieved any call or shipping information and for the last week and phone calls go unanswered.
Do not order from Steebar companies!

Where's the beef
AUTHOR: Steebar - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Monday, June 11, 2012
I spoke to the customer again today June 10 2012. I explained again the web site states there is extra shipping for the lathe. Its 105 lbs. What are we to lose money on the shipping? The shipment is on track. So what more can we do. Whey would somebody use this web site to complain and not remove such untrue comments. Chip Gordon
