This company called me and said their name was Student Loan Help Center and told me they could consolidate or refinance my student loans. I answered their questions, but when I asked them what their phone number was, their rep would not give it to me. This made me worry the call may be a scam. I hung up, then they called me back 4 more times.

So I checked ripoffreport.com and the Beter Business Bureau (where they have an F) and found this company is scamming many hard-working people out of their money.

This company represents themselves on the telephone as a financial institution that offers student loan consolidation and refinancing services. After researching the company which is based in California, I learned they are not a financial institution nor do they provide in-house lending services.

They will ask for your personal financial information and personal credit information over the phone, in order to begin the loan consolidation process. DO NOT PROVIDE ANY PERSONAL INFO TO THIS COMPANY.

Their representative sounded like they were in a Filipino call center, which calls our home at least 4 times per day using a robocall service which shows up as a different caller ID each time they call.

They have no website I could find. If they have one, I wonder if they will provide it in their reply to this post?

This company does not answer the phone number (888-511-9132) listed with Google. When calling this number you will find the number disconnected. IF THEY REPLY TO THIS POST, let' see if they provide a phone number that they actually answer. If they do, I will call it to be sure.

This company does not list a non-toll free phone number to the general public.

WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS DOES NOT WANT THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO HAVE THEIR PHONE NUMBER? ANSWER: A business that SCAMS and preys upon honest, hard-working people who are trying to improve their desperate financial situation. THIS COMPANY is RIPPING PEOPLE OFF and needs to be stopped. I am contacting the Attorney General's office in California and other agencies that pursue predatory lenders and consolidators.
