On March 6, 2007, I had a young man named Mark Vetter come to my door and give me the spill about trying to win a trip or something. Been so long ago, I can't remember his story. He talked me into buying a magazine subscription even though they were quite pricey. I finally settled on Cosmopolitan (39 issues for $30). He told me I could cancel if I wanted to and he would still get his 100 points...What he did not tell me is that on top of the expensive price for the magazines, I also was charged $12.00 for the processing service fee. So I wrote out a check for $42....it is now October 17th and I have yet to receive my Cosmopolitan magazine.

Today as I got home from work, a girl I have never seen before held open my door for me as I carried my sleeping daughter in one hand and my purse, etc. in the other hand. I unlocked the door and she started telling me the spill about trying to win a trip to Cancun. I told her that I already ordered a subscription months ago and have yet to receive it. She said it "takes 90-120 days to receive) I told her that it was way back in March and she said oh. She offered me the customer service number if I had the receipt, I did, but was unable to find it since I had just gotten home. I finally found it only to realize that there is no customer service number on the receipt anywhere. I searched the internet only to find the Ripoff Report complaining about the fraudulent company. One guy had the customer service number listed and I gave it a call. (954-341-8135) A lady answered and I explained I have not yet received my subscription. She seemed very nice and asked for the reference number on my receipt which I gave her. She had my name and address correct, except that the subscription she was showing was for 4wheelers. I told her no, I ordered Cosmo. She said "oh, well we don't carry that magazine." She then told me that I could send a copy of my receipt to the address and they would send me a full refund of the $42.00 I paid for a magazine that they do not even carry.

I have had 3 different people try to sell me these magazine subscriptions since March. Be aware of this company!!!
