Supply Connection Office Supply ripoff Gulfport Mississippi

I received a call one day from a woman claiming to be closing down her local office supply company, and she had a great deal for me.

She said that all her supplies came in gross, and explained to me what they called a gross. I wrote it down as she was telling me, 8 gross = 8 dozen, 4 gross = 4 dozen.

Then she gave me all her prices. $0.99 for 1 gross of 3X3 post-its, and said she would send me 2 gross. $0.39 for 1 gross of bic pens, $0.89 for 1 gross of highlighter, and markers.

All these prices sounded great, and I thought I was only getting 2 dozen of each of them, so I decided to go ahead with it.

A few weeks later, I received 10 boxes of office supplies. Guess what? Her gross was not what she said it was. It was 12 X 12, so I received 144 things when I ordered a gross of a product.

About a month later we received the invoice, and instead of charging us $0.99 for a dozen post-its, they charged us $0.99 per pad of post-its. That makes a dozen post-its $11.88.

It was horrible, the invoice came to $9,462.01. I was enraged. I was thinking how could someone do this to someone else, and live with themselves.

We packed everything up, and shipped it back. Although a few people in the company had used a few post-its, and pens and binder clips, but I thought we had sent the majority of it back, since it took 12 boxes to send everything back.

Six weeks go by, and we think we're done with the company, until we receive another invoice totally $756. For what?

We failed to send back 11 post-its, 3 boxes of binder clips, a dozen sharpies, and a few markers. I went back to my notes of what I was originally quoted. For the items that they are saying we "retained" (or somehow mysteriously disappeared in their fraudulent warehouse) we still owed them $33.25, NOT $756.

I called a few times and left messages to call me back. It took calling about 3-4 times, before I finally got a call back.

I told them that we will pay them $33.25 for our items retained, and I wanted a new invoice. She said that I kept 36 boxes of binder clips, and that was going to cost me. I did not, I said. We kept 3.

Anyway, she said she would lower the price to $225, and she sent me an invoice for that amount.

I can't believe they should get any money at all, what have they done for it? Nothing but a lot of dirty work. This company is ridiculous, and I don't trust them one bit.

Never ever do any sort of business with them!
