I received a call from a gentleman stating that he was directed to me from our CFO (he knew him by name). He continued to tell me he was from Supply Connection Inc. and they were moving their regional facility down south. They were trying to sell their inventory before the moved therefore they were selling the items and DEEP DISCOUNTS.
I ordered supplies that we use on a regular basis. They were selling them per gross which is more than we ever order at one shot but since the deal was so good, how could you go wrong, right? WRONG! He quoted the items per GROSS but the invoice came and we were billed per EACH!
I was expecting an bill around $150 but the bill was for $8200! The bill also included $200 for shipping which I was told was for free. I did some research and came across this website and found that this has happend all over the country. It's the same story word for word! Unbelieveable!
This company is a complete SCAM! I've learned my lesson the hard way and will never deal with people over the phone like this again!

After countless phones and messages left with the company I was able to talk to someone. We had threatened to get our lawyers involved if we didn't come up with a solution to this scam. In the long run we had sent back all the remaining supplies we had (some had been used since it took over a month to settle this dispute) and never paid a dime. I think one they heard "lawyers" they figured it wasn't worth their time to try and scam us any longer. THANK GOD this is over and done with. Do not pay your invoices if you get caught up in this scam!

sleazy office supply outfit. I am not paying. They have put an equally sleazy debt collecting firm onto me, but I'll let it go to court even though it would be cheaper to pay. That is what these outfits bank on - literally! Hold your ground on this one
