Supply Connection ripoff, fraudulent, Gulfport Mississippi

I received a phone call from a Lynn Carr, stating she had spoken with our company comptroller the night before and told him of the great deals she was offering on office supplies and he'd given her my name and told her to contact me regarding the purchase of some items.

She told me she was closing her office supply business and moving out of state and was selling off her inventory at greatly reduced prices. She also stated she was selling the items in gross amounts. When I questioned her on what was a gross she said it was a 12 pack. I questioned her several times on the 12 pack and was assured I was correct and a gross was a 12 pack.

We later received shipment of some items our company uses only they were not in a 12 pack they were 12 packs of 12. I later received an invoice for $ 11,712.89. I was shocked, afraid and in a panic of loosing my job.

I started to investigate on line and found the numerous reports filed regarding this company. I sent them a letter stating that I had been lied to regarding the amounts they were selling. I packed up the majority of the supplies and shipped them back to Supply Connection.

I received another invoice for $5,718.97 for the few items we had used. It is still over priced and not what I'd agreed to or had been told. When our accounting dept. called them a Joanne Miller said they would settle for 1/2 of the $ 5,718.97 which is still $2,859.48. We are still in dispute of this amount at this time.

Never do business with this company they have been ripping companies off for over a year. They are costing people their jobs and lifes. Some one needs to put this company out of business once and for all.

I know that this is not the only company doing this same thing. I received a call last week from a Hicks company stating the same things about going out of business. Fortunatley I did not get caught in this trap again and promplty told him I was not interested and hung up.
