When going to the store to print out a baby registry the price for a stroller said it was 94.98 but the price was really 185.00. The lady at the customer service department said I would have to call Target online since now the stroller was available online only. The very same day I called and they explained to me that prices fluctuate and it may have been a promotional item. I said to the person on the phone that Ive heard of reducing items by 30 dollars or 40 dollars but almost a hundred dollars. She did not have an answer for me. I asked to speak to someone else and I got the same answer. I asked how come they dont update prices on registries as they change. Today I went online and they raised the price again to 189.99. This is ridiculous!!! Ive heard of lowering prices but never raising them by almost a hundred dollars

More Information Needed

My theory is that when the item was added to the registry it was on clearance because they were planning to make it an online-only item. I would really need more information to say for sure.
And if it was a $100 off sale, why is that such a big deal? Just because you missed it?

The price probably wasn't changed because you were in the middle of an update. 24 hours to update a website sounds reasonable to me. I could be wrong, but that's my guess.
