On December 7, 2011 my husband went to Target.com and purchased the Graco DuoGlider Stroller in the Lowery print. The item was listed for $97.99 and free shipping was offered over $50. When he went to check out, he was charged $24.52 for shipping. Since the item was listed with free shipping he decided to contact Target to see what the issue was. Upon contacting the company the customer service representative told him that she wasnt sure why it was coming up this way and the only way for her to correct the issue was for him to submit the order and she would refund him the cost of shipping. She then provided him with reference number. This morning he realized that we still hadnt received the stroller, so he went online to check the status and he could not find anything. Upon contacting Target he was told that the order was never processed. Yet we received a confirmation number and en email stating otherwise? The customer service representative indicated that the individual who was working on the shipping refund may have not fully processed the order and therefore it was never truly received. Yet we didnt get an email stating that the item was cancelled or would not be received.
I find it ridiculous that we have been waiting for 16 days for an item only to find out it was not coming. We have a new baby on the way and my husband and I had decided that the stroller would be my only gift for Christmas as we were saving for the new baby. Now I find out that we will not be receiving this item. On top of not getting my Christmas present, I must now find another higher priced stroller to replace the one that I have ordered from Target. I am disgusted that this issue has happened. This was our first (and probably last) time ordering from Target and the level of customer service offered has been subpar. I liken this to this years issue with Best Buy, selling items that were not in stock and would not be in stock in time for the holiday. The difference is, when these people contacted Best Buy they were offered gift cards for the issue and offered a solution. I have not been offered any type of solution and I cannot believe this is how a multi-billion dollar corporation would treat their customers. It is as if to say Who cares about one customer, we have a ton. Target.com is not offering me anything to alleviate this issue! I even asked that a similar stroller be sold to me at the same price (there is a $25 price difference between the two).

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds
success happens only when it does

If you search using several places, yahoo, msn bing, google, and etc. you can find some place cheaper than Target or more costly than Target. You may find good quality or poor quality, for less or for more, you can be surprised to find better.
I think you should know some about Target and what we saw working at Target. Target has policies designed to favor Target, its not like other stores with relaxed policies, to favor the customer. Target is tight about money, will not under sell other stores, yet will sometimes - at the cost of being poor service - it all depends on certain factors.
Since May 2011 I have never been to a Target Store, I have been shocked to find them, too abusive for me, as a customer and worker, the silliest policies, this blind nonsense, the silly expectations, facts are what they are. To name some, what is a stocker, they squeeze the most work out of someone, while paying the least they can, the strange panic, and demands - being inhumane, who's friend are we, while being poor planning. Expecting to do more in less time with less people, there is a large turn over of workers that makes it hard for someone to truely know much, or be fast, what they train disappears, then scold that things are not done. They waste time when they could be working, the silly chat sessions that contradict themselves, that can scold, or recognize - yet who's friend are we, how could a person be lazy for the extreme effort people do.
I am sure someone understands how strange it is, when someone wants more for less, its diabolical, with good planing and ability, you can do many things, then its possible - yet how far is too extreme, then blame, just to gain more, from your so called friends, to prefer anti-social workers, mindless machines, then expect friendliness, my job is not to prove I am altruistic, its just that, I can only do more or less, than others, only when I can.
Sure I could find a better Target store somewhere, yet it best to not risk the effort, they all look much the same as each others and reminds me of the psychopaths they are, so friendly and helpful one moment, then abusive and diabolical the next. As a customer you might think its good or bad, and know the facts, or be unreasonable about what happened, or be insulted for knowing the facts.
