I started my classes at Chubb in August 2007. I came into a class with one teacher, who was very friendly and helpful, but not very organized.

They soon divided the class time between two teachers with two very different teaching techniques, clashing horribly, and they themselves did not get along well either. The second teacher seemed to be on the ball, but eventually wound up sitting at his computer doing his own thing everyday, and our first teacher was more of a story teller then a teacher.

Needless to say, once we had a teacher who actually knew what he was doing, we were entirely unprepared. He tried to catch us up to what we missed out, but along with what he was suppose to be teaching us, it was a confusing overload.

If a teacher does not come in, we are given a sub, who does not know or teach the class we are in. They are more worried with us staying the full class hours then learning anything at all. Many a day we have sat in class for five hours straight not being taught.

Many of us have gone to the offices with complaints, they are always willing to work with us, but I've never seen any real changes.

This place is very unorganized, and do not live up to their word. They are more interested in outside activities then the education of their students.

No solution to the problem?

AUTHOR: Inspector - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 27, 2008

You have acknowledged the fact that there is a problem but, you fail to come up with a solution. I can now fully understand the student's complaint. Instead of shifting the blame how about solving the problem which apparently exists.

Unmotivated student with inability to stand up for herself

AUTHOR: Chubb Employee - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 26, 2008

This student never once attempted to deal with the situation at hand. She and her classmates complained to the wrong people and she in particular never lodged a single complaint to anyone I asked. She often came in to school with her Mother and refused to deal with these situations on her own. The students need to realize they're adults and they need to act like adults.
