I am currently in a battle with The Company Corporation in an attempt to receive a refund after they bungled my LLC beyond repair. They are attempting to still charge me a $70 service fee for their erroneous documents. Here are the errors they made:

1. My company name is wrong.  Their rep did not advise me that "Limited" was not allowed in Delaware and tacked on LLC, without my permission, in addition to Limited. This makes "Limited" redundant.

2. The reason why I chose a Delaware Corporation is because I wanted to keep my name private. The importance of this was explained to their rep, yet they still published my name, which was in addition it being spelled completely wrong.

3. They have my personal name wrong.  I typed this in, so there was no reason for this error.

4. They have my member's name wrong. I spelled this out very carefully to their rep.

5. I asked to review the documents, and wished to have my attorney review them, before they were submitted. They were submitted to the State of Delaware, errors and all, without review and without my permission.

6. I told them multiple times that I already had an EIN number, yet I am receiving notices that they filed for another one of those also.

At this point, I do not trust The Company Corporation to handle any of my matters.

I believe some of the problems are due to the fact they have multiple reps handling a single account. This results in communication breakdowns. In addition, most of the reps sounded very young, and although friendly, certainly do make a lot of youthful errors.

I spoke with another company about having them correct their errors, and they said it would cost $450; it is more expensive to file amendments than it is to start from scratch. I am therefore abandoning this messed-up company The Company Corporation created, will choose a different company name and will file using a different service company.  I recommend anyone reading this to find a different filing company, unless you want to spend hours on the phone trying to straighten out their mess.
