Judges, doctors, and even Kroger's doctors agree that I have RSD, Chronic pain syndrome and other injuries from a work-related injury. I even won a civil lawsuit for the injury! But Krogers-who is a self-insured workers comp company-keeps taking away my medication, sends me to doctors across the state time and time again, and denies me a cure--nerve blocks--even after it has been proven that nerve blocks will more than likely cure me by a diagnostic test (that I finally got after six years of my lawyer fighting for me).
Give me the series of nerve blocks, and I'll be off the medicines, I won't need to see doctors, and I will be out of pain and have use of my limb again--that's what I keep asking Krogers, but they keep laughing at me as they make me run in circles, lose job after job because of this medical injury, and become depressed and suicidal. I won't quit, though. Krogers is thumbing its nose at the law and I am going to fight until Kroger's gives me my treatments, compensation, and has its self-insured WC status revoked.
As much as we jibe about government red tape, I know that the government would treat me better than The Kroger Company has treated me--and probably will treat me. My lawyer and I will fight, even though I'll probably die soon--if not from the pain then from my depression.

" Justin, until you've filed a worker's comp claim and have walked a mile in this man's shoes, how DARE you even THINK you have something to say."
I suppose the exact same thing that allows YOU to say anything, is what gives Justin, and everyone else the ability to say stuff.
Follow your own advice in the future please.
Good grief.

i wonder if they will do a write up in their magazine about this. would something be done different next time when someone is near death like this poor man is.
keep us informed as we want to know your outcome in life. it is a shame that a company must dictate the fate of someones life.
what does god say about this?
