The Mortgage Law Did not get modification as promised. Did not do what company claimed they could do. Scottsdale, Arizona

On 3/7/11, I responded to this company's website and contacted this company.Our home was about to go into foreclosure. The person that I spoke to explained that their company could  lower our mortgage payment $150.00 - $200.00 by getting us approved for the Hamp Program.
 
After asking a few questions, he told me that we did  qulify for that program and that they could get us  a loan modification and save our home. He said that they charged a fee of $2400.00 that was to be paid upfront. 

We paid the fee and after about 5 months, we received papers from Wells Fargo; the payment was only lowered from $790.56 to $777.00. When I contacted them to discuss this issue, they told me that Wells Fargo was not going to lower the payment any more that we were lucky that they had taken the past due payments and tacked them onto the back of the contract and been brought current.
 
We Paid this company to modify our mortgage and to get our payments lowered $150.00 - $200.00 per month. The Mortgage Law Group did not do what they claimed. This company is nothing but a ripoff and should not be trusted by anyone. When I stated we wanted a refund of our money, I was told we were not due a refund because we had gotten a modification. This company is very deceptive and has very deceptive operations.
