On December 1, 2007, I ordered the complete set of Jem and the Holograms as a Christmas present for my Sister. I was given an ETA of 12/14/07. When the item didn't arrive I began asking questions, and looking for the shipping confirmation.

The Shipping Confirmation e-mail never made it to my inbox, because it was caught by my spam filter. Before I figured this out I contacted the company and they sent me the tracking number of the package. I logged on to www.canadapost.ca and used the tracking number I had been given. The last update showed that it was still in sorting at the Canada Post Office. I am aware that many businesses in Canada shut down for two weeks during the Christmas Holiday, so I wasn't too concerned until after the first of the year when the tracking information still had not been updated.

I continued to check back to the Canada Post Office site for updates, and they did post an update dated 12/24/07, saying that the item had reached the post office in the destination country. That is the last update shown, and all futher communications sent to TheDVDPlanet.org have went ignored.

In my last e-mail I gave them until Friday 1/25/08 to either give me an upate, have my package arrive, or credit my card. None of the above have happened, and I will be contacting my credit card company to have the charge denied, and the company reported for fraud.

I was a little skeptical when making the purchase, and that was the reason for using a credit card rather than my bank/debit card. I should have listened to my instincts, and just paid the higher price for the item from a legitimate company. Once again, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Lesson learned.
