TicketsMyWay ripoff never received charged refunded ripoff Las Vegas Nevada

There's already so many reports on this company, I'm not sure how much mine will help. I bought tickets on March 16th to see David Gilmour in Oakland. They charged my card the same day. I never received the tickets, and I tried to call them but both numbers say their office is closed. I tried all morning and several times in the afternoon. I've tried emailing them at sales@ticketsmyway.com but the message bounces saying the mailbox is full. Their online web chat says there are no operators available. I also noticed on 3/29, they refunded the money. However, after reading posts on this site I decided to call my bank. My bank has confirmed there's a pending charge for the same amount. I have to mail in a form to dispute this.

A few minutes ago, I was contacted by someone named Ryan who works at Ticket City (ticketcity.com). I basically played dumb to see what he would say, and he said TicketsMyWay has filed for bankruptcy. I told him they refunded my money, but then charged it back and I asked him why they would do that. He said when they went out of business, they refunded everyone's money but their account didn't have the balance for all these refunds, so the merchant company had charged them back again automatically. He said I needed to contact my bank, but I would definitely be getting a refund. I did not elect to buy tickets from him.

The company might be a scam, but I don't see any evidence that suggests everything Ryan said isn't true. We will see if I'm able to get my money back. Luckily, I was able to find replacement tickets on Craig's List.
