1. Found theater ticket for sale on the web to "The Producers." 2. Got confirming email from TICKETSNOW.COM, but did not notice error in balcony, not mezzanine, location. 3. When ticket arrived, called about error:815-337-9000. 4. Was told that's too bad and that no money for receiving an overly-priced, cheaper-than-ordered ticket would be forthcoming. 5. At the theater, manager told me that I had been scammed; the ticket was not good for any seating. The delivered ticket came on a "Telecharge.com" heading (the good guys), but had been ordered through TICKETSNOW.COM, THE SCAMMERS. 6. What should have been a $46.00 ticket cost me $174.45. I believe New York does not allow more than a 20% re-sale mark-up.

First and foremost, you chose the wrong seats. If it was an error on our part we go to great extremes to locate comparable or better tickets for you and if that is not possible, we gladly refund your money plus issue a gift certificate for the inconvience. When you order from us you click a box saying you agree to our sales terms and conditions which state there are no refunds, cancellations, or exchanges on an order YOU make a mistake on. The reason being is that when you place an order we buy the tickets from a listing seller and we have no way to recover the money we've lost because all sales are final.

As far as the price, when you purchase we make you aware we are a secondary ticket market and prices are ABOVE face value. This is due to market value which means that the show may be sold out or very popular so the tickets are sold at higher prices. We also have none of the tickets in our inventory. Licensed business list on our site, we sell the tickets for them and charge the price they want to charge, we buy them when a customer places an order so they only have our account info, and it makes for a secure transaction for the customer.

We make a 10% service fee of of the deal, which includes credit card processing fees of 3%, guaranteeing the tickets, meaning if anything goes wrong we are responsible for finding comparable or better seating for you, and buying and securing tickets for you. That service fee is clearly stating in your price whether you order online or on the phone. If you couldn't get into the show, why didn't you call us? We guarantee that are tickets are 100% authentic and only work with licensed business, not individuals who just want to sell tickets. And as for the markup, there is no limit, some events (like Super Bowl) are marked up like 3 times the amount.

Tickets can be marked up whatever amount as long as you are licensed by the state, which we are and we thoroughly screen every listed seller to make sure they are also licensed. I just wanted to defend my company because they are great to work for and I talk to so many satisfied customers every day. If you need tickets to a sold out show or good seats, call us!
