In 2003, I purchased a refurbished Compaq Presario 2500 from Tiger Direct, Inc.

In addition, I purchased "3 Yr from Purchase, Onsite after Mfg Warranty Ends". This was not cheap, you check my math at Tiger's website.

Compaq covers one year parts and labor

Conservatively, this coverage was suppose to be good till 2007.

Long story short, Tiger says I have the coverage. "Warranty Corporation Of America" (www.waca.com) (3110 Crossing Park Road, Norcross, GA 33144) says I do not.

So there they sit, pointing at each other, stating the other is to blame. Tiger gets my money and probably split it with WACA.

Don't buy Tiger Direct and WACA.
