#7 Consumer Suggestion

I avoid mail in rebates altogether.

AUTHOR: Steve - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, April 29, 2007

Justin,

It seems that there is a problem with most mail in rebates these days. It seems like they look for reasons to keep your money. That's why I avoid mail in rebates altogether.

And, there may have been some fine print in the offer such as 1 rebate per household, etc. I would bet this is the problem.

However, I do not think that Tiger Direct is at fault here. I have dealt with them several times and the way they do business is impeccable.

Those rebates actually come from the wireless carrier who activated your service. That is who the rip off report should be written on.

Good luck in getting your money.

I have the feeling that Tiger Direct will make it right with you even if the carrier does not.
