Tigerdirect ripoff - No response to email or phone calls and does not tender rebate Miami Florida

I am not at all surprised to find so many similiar cases where TigerDirect offers rebates and then manufactures excuses not to pay them and when the customer does jump through their hoops and they have no other choice but to agree to the rebate they use the old worn-out, trite cliche, that "it is in the mail."

First the forms were exactly right. When they insisted that a signature was missing, I insisted it was not and my copy shoed the information clearly on the form which was submitted the first time. Never-the-less, I copied everything and sent it in again. This time they acknowledged it was right (although NOTHING was changed from the original form which had already been submitted once) and they confirmed the rebate was being issued. That was close to three months ago and now they refuse to answer my e-mails and don't answer they phones. I think this is a scam and I will pursue it -- and will also make sure others know about their scheme to defraud. A false representation where the price appears better because of a rebate which is never paid is classic bait and switch and a tort against consumers.
