 Recently this company, Tigerdirect.com, had advertised this bundle of a mini portable drive and a security software for 20.00 after rebate of 80.00 on the items.  I ordered one bundle because only one bundle was allow for rebate per house hold. It totaled 104.21 on my paypal. within a week only the software was sent to me.  I called to question about the other half of my order.  On the phone, a Tigerdirect customer service told me that the mini drive will be sent to me by a third party wharehouse and to just wait for it, a week or two.  It's been a month and a week and I did not see any email update or heard from Tigerdirect.com.  I finally called them to see what is happenning with the second portion of my order.  To my surprise, after waiting amost an hour on the phone, on hold, a Rep. came on. After I give her my order number, She told me that I will not be able to get the mini harddrive because Tigerdirect had under ordered the unit and ran out.  She told me I either had to cancel my order or keep the stipud security software for 60.00.  but I will not get the hard drive.  This is such a bad customer service that this half non speaking english woman had told me.  It's looks like a scam of making customer to purchase unwant stuff.  She was very hard to understand with broken english.  I ask to talk to her Sup.  When Frank ID5840, a Sup. came on, he tried to help by wanting me to upgrade the hard drive unit to a more expensive one so I can use the half of the rebate on the security software.  So instead of substituting the hard drive, he actually wants me to spend more money. and I can't use the rebate for the hard drive because its a different brand.  I could still use the one for the software, which is 20.00. Thus I will end up paying more for the order.  what a scam.  False advertisement and all. 

This company is nothing but a scam to get people to buy things they advertise and not follow through with the delivery.  The better Business Bureau should look into this type of business on the internet.  I had the worst treatment on the phone with this Reps. that I will never order from them again.  To those don't know, Tigerdirect.com is SCAM. especially the Rebate that they promise you will get.  They will advertise for you to put order in and later tried to get to buy more expensive subtitutes acting like they are doing you a favore buy letting you sub for a higher price item.  Imagine you own a company and got all these order putting money into your business account for a month or more that's collecting interest at the bank.  then when people complaint they refund your money back by saying keep the order or leave it. or upgrade you order for a more expensive item. it's a win win situation for them.   with this type of scam, they already made money on thousands and thousands of order in dollars at the bank (interest).  This company sucks and is a ripping people off.
