I interviewed for a job today in Tulsa. The job involves loading your pickup truck with 4,000 worth of inventory and telling strangers you meet in door-to-door sales that you are a driver for the company and that your boss doesn't want to re-stock the items on your truck including a gas and diesel generator, a power washer and an air compressor. You ask the person to come take a look and then wait for them to say something.

When they ask how much you want for it, you reply, "So you mean you could use this stuff?" Then you show him the invoice of almost 13,000 dollars and tell him he can have the gas generator, the air compressor and the power washer for free if they will just pay the 5900 for the diesel generator. If they do not agree to the price you mock a phone call to the "boss" and drop the price 10 percent. etc. until you make at least 500 on the sale.

Then you drive back and get another load and go to another unsuspecting farmer.

The dig is that you can make 1980 on each load and make 2,000 to 6000 per week.

My problem with this approach is that it is a blatant false fabrication and a deceptive trade practice. the sales approach is to cash in on the person's greed.

The same equipment could be purchased at home depot or Sam's for a fraction of the cost.
