I purchased a Tom Tom Go 510 last year through Radio Shack. This is the biggest piece of garbage and their support team in Texas refuses to refund my money or substitute it with another machine. From the very begining it was challenging to set up, even the Radio Shack personnel were confused. Then because of the small size of the battery, even when it is charged in your car, the devise stops working every few weeks and needs to be reset. What a hassle it became to bring it up stairs charge it and reset it when all the other navigational devices on the market appear to charge well enough with the car charger. The Radio Shack people did not know that you are required to do this, it's in the fine print, in the manuel after your purchase it. The memory card also slips out when you remove the devise from the windshield, which is advised so people do not try to break into your car. This also requires you to reset the devise. And finally even when the product is fully charged it looses it's connection regulary, when I'm driving, forcing me to stop and re-enter the information. There is nothing redeeming about this product at all not one iota!!!!
Don't ever purchase one of these gadgets without a several year extended warranty because after 30 days they basically tell you to shove it up your....... Radio Shack wouldn't take it back 60 days later nor would TOM TOM. They made me pay to send it back to them for repairs, too!
I would never purchase another Tom Tom product. It is very frustrating when you make sales calls on the road and are heavily relying on this device. I recently went out and bought a Garmin from Best Buy with a an extended 4 year warranty and I suggest you do the same.
