we used triple 7 movers for a 6 mile of a 2 bedroom apt. our contact with the company was named Jason.

Jason quoted us $650 for the move and then instructed us to save money we should buy our own boxes and packing tape. We followed his directions and purchased 45 boxes at Lowes.

When we called them back to tell them we had the boxes and tape, my wife Kim spoke to Ashlyn and was told that if she did the packing of the boxes that we could save at least $200 on our bill.

Kim took a week and packed all 45 boxes and had everything ready to go.

When the movers arrived, I took the beds and furniture apart to save more time.

We were told by the lead man of the crew, named Aaron, that most people tipped them $30 per man and that would have to be in cash.

Aaron was a great talker but was very slow at getting things done. We even saw 1 of the guys talking on his cell phone in the back of the truck.

When they submitted the bill, the total was $972.97 plus the $90 for the tip (in cash).

We contacted Ashlyn on the next Monday (the first day she was available) and the first thing she said was that it was not company policy to ask for tips, and wouldn't even discuss the fact that there was an over charge of between $300 to $500.

We tried to dispute just the over charge with our credit card company but they wouldn't help us because we signed for the total amount. (We felt at he time that we should talk nto the office and not argue with Aaron at that time, because we were very upset and just wanted them to leave.)

Niether Jason nor Ashlyn have returned our calls after many requests to try to resolve this matter.
