Tru Talent Management, a model and talent agency, in Las Vegas and Salt Lake City, is a huge scam and should be shut down!

The so called "scouts" travel to malls and locations carding "potential" models and actors by making false statements on the amount of booked work the company actually has.

Once the scout collects the personal information they will pass it to the telephone solicitors who will then make more false statements to set an appointment and get the people into the comany.

The so called "interview/auditions" are "fee" and no money is paid.

Once at the company for the audition, the "potential hopeful" will be meeting with a so called "agent". These people are in sales. The will sell "new" people any way and any how! The will say anything!!

Outrageous prices are charged for photography (some of the photographers hired are training on the job!!), modeling and acting classes and the web site.

These services are not worth the thousands paid!

These thousands paid can be financed by Tru who in turn sells the contract to a Utah based company which the owner has ties!

So, you pay the thousands, then wait for a booking! That is what you will be doing is waiting!

The chances of booking work are slim to none with the hundreds of people on file and the companies limited client base. If lucky and a booking happens so many of the jobs are low pay or no pay and not worth the thousands invested.

The saddest part is the children. This company will take money from the hopeful parents for their child and babies. Sitting in the waiting room and seeing all the parents thinking (as they have been "scouted") their child will be the next star. These people are really getting ripped off.

With such limited work or no work for the very young in these cities this company is truly the lowest of low!

This company will cover up problems, complaints and any matter that they can get rid of....anyhow possible.....so they can continue operating this scam and making hundreds of thousands of dollars!!!

This is a serious buyer beware!

Models, hire your own photographer, make up, hair and wardrobe people. Order enough prints for a comp card or buy the images on disc so you can go online and upload your images to order your comp cards which is your models calling card for clients to see. Save money.

List with agencies that do not charge money but make money from the commission you pay the agent for finding you work and list on multiple web sites so your image is seen world wide by actual paying clients.

Actors and children, hire your own photographer, make up and hair people, bring a nice shirt for your head shot and save money! Buy the best images on disc and self print the head shots.

Take training from reputable instructors that do not charge an arm and a leg.

Be Aware of this Scam!

Sales is a difficult bussiness. Most if not all jobs work off commision, it's a promisiong job if you have what it takes to make the money. I was told the day I went into Tru Talent that they accept every child under a certain age as not to be critical of babies and toddlers, because they are ever growing and ever changing. So evidentally my daughter under two then was accepted. All parents are bias, ans 99.9% think there children are themost beautiful, angelic child on the face of the earth, not always so. So the parent me being one signed up. 1000.00 down, another 1000.00 for all the specific aged classes and so on and so forth. I been lucky at first for the fist couple years nothing because face it you don't see many babies cat walking down a run way, but as she got older the more and more exposure payed off and now we are doing pretty good, had some good parts, been an extra a time and again, and did some modeling, we are composated for it very nicely, so it's not always the company to blame. Moral of the story some have what it takes to be successful and others just don't have the persistance to work the bussiness. Exactly we don't become stars overnight, it's a job as any, it takes time and energy, and it takes money to make money that's for sure. Take time, it will happen, and if it doesn't well lets face it the rich and famous make up about 20% of the worlds population, not everyone's bound for stardom. I don't even know what the future holds, but the money iv'e spent and I live of 40k a year, so you know it's well worked for, in the end is insignificsnt. It's spent on my daughter, if it's wasted it isn't for nothing.
