Truffoire Aloha Soap Company Skincare Sales Scam RIPOFF Waikiki Hawaii

I was stopped by a man outside a shop near Chinatown San Francisco who gave me two samples of a Truffoire product face cream. My daughter and I went inside to learn more about what he was selling. He gave me a big sales pitch about this ALL NATURAL product, and how they are used at the excluive Truffoire spas all over the nation in the richest communities like La Jjoll and Rodeo Drive. 

I asked where the closest spa was to my home in Los Angeles, and he said Rodeo Drive. I will say that the products seemed pretty miraculous and he offered a 75% discount on the price listetd on the company's website truffoire.com.

He even went so far as to show me a "spa room" behind a closed door and said "This is what the room at our spas look like when you go for your complimentary VIP facial." He then gave me a card that entitled me to a VIP Complimentary Face Treatment as a Spa that does not exist.

Because I'm a Mary Kay rep, I was very curious about the product and inquired about the ingredients. The man said that they were all natural and would not cause allergies or bad interactions with my other products. I believed him.

He gave me his cell phone number on the receipt and told me that when I want to order again, I can call him and he will honor the 75% discount again. The man was very convincing and seemed very trustworthy. He even gave my daughter a free jar of bath salts from the store next to his fake shop.

Long story short, after using the miracle eye product twice, which they cleverly tell  you to use only before bedtime. I would wak up and my eyes would be watering uncontrollably for at least an hour. I discontinued use. (The truth is it feels like it's just egg white and the effect goes away in an hour) They tell you that you have to use it for a year to see permanent results and that their are 60 applications in the "syringe".

When I use the Vitamin C cleanser and then applyl the day cream, my face gets very hot and starts to sting.

When you go to their website, you can't leave a comment and there are none posted past October 2017. Also, there is no address for the company or phone number. I did send a message to customer service but have yet to get a response.

Also, as far as ingredients...they are not all natural. The eye syringe lists aluminum as one of the ingredients which is a known cancer causing ingredient. This company is promoting putting this directly on the most sensitive and thinnest area of skin, under the eyes!

I stopped using these products after a few uses and have since have been trying to learn more about why this product is still allowed to be sold. I have met other women who said that they were scammed as well. They have kiosks in malls, they stand out on the streets where there are tourists (no doubt because they know tourists can't go back to the store and punch them out) and they even have people in vendor seller on Amazon flipping these dangerous products.

Also, please check the comments on the eye syringe. The response from the company is that it contains topical Botox. A) The listed ingredients on the packaging say nothing about topical Botox. b) Botox is a registered brand and I doubt they sell their formulations to unsavory companies and c) Topical Botox is illegal in the United States and even when made available, will be by perscription only.

Please look into the unscroupulous practices of these snake oil salespeople. They are putting women's health and safety at risk.
