I switched to TXU after years of tring to keep away from them because they have always been high. I should have never switched I was only paying 13 cent per kwh with Direct Energy but you never know when it will go up I was not locked in at any price with Direct Energy. Then TXU came by promising to lock me in at 12 cents per kwh for 3 years, When they were talking about energy prices going up even more.

I switched to be locked for 3 years It only ended up being for one month, 2nd month 18.7 cents per kwh, I switched back to Direct Energy after 2nd bill but the 3rd and last bill from TXU came today at 20.10 cents per kwh I have called several times and they keep telling me thats just the way they figure it out and won't try to fix it they have no explenation for whats going on and they are not responsable for what they tell us when they come door to door even thought they represent the company.

Meantime I have a 1200 square foot house and we put all new insulation last year and my electric bill went from $123.00 in May $318.64 in June and now $436.14 in July and I keep my thermostat at 78 degrees all the time. This last month I made sure to turn everything off that we weren't using and even sitting in dark alot when watching t.v. Don't ever trust TXU they will screw you around.
