Ultimate Power Sales, Inc. Be warned in southeast Georgia! Ripoff! Sugar Hill Georgia

I just got the same type of scam-story given to me today! A 19-year old girl told me she was trying to raise money for her softball team (from Chicago or somehwere else up north) to go to some tournament in Hawaii. Oh, but she said she had just moved to my neighborhood. That's where I got ripped off - I'm a sucker and I felt bad for her. Since she was supposedly local, I thought I could at least buy one book from her - that one book cost more than $60!

I can't believe the gall these people have to tell these lies door-to-door every day. I looked up the company online right after they left (she was with 'her brother's friend' who was just keeping her safe). That's when I called the local police to see if there was anything I should do. They found them still in the neighborhood and told them to leave, since they had no permit.

I suppose I need to call my bank now to cancel my check. The receipt she gave me says:
"Your first issue should be received within 120 days".
It also says:
"NOT INVOLVED IN DONATION, SPONSORSHIP, OR SCHOLASTIC PROGRAMS OF ANY KIND".

How could they be sending books to charities if they're not involved in donation? Plus, 4 months is an awful long time to have to wait for a book or subscription. For that much money it should be overnighted to me.

Anyways, I basically have the same story as the other people who got suckered into this scam. Next time I won't be so naive.
